A Battle Never Fought: The Impact of Private Worship on Global Politics Thursday, Jul 3 2008 

A few, vocal individuals in our nation today say that religion and politics must be separate; their slogan is ‘Separation of Church and state.’  The reality is that the two can never be divorced.  In an ideal world, true religion should influence the state, but we do not live in an ideal world.  Neither did the colonies prior to the Revolutionary War.  The following is an account (never taught in public schools) of how one man’s worship impacted global politics.
